Meet Singles at Pitch-a-Friend at Thursdays Downtown

Have a single friend who's looking to meet someone? You can pitch them at Thursdays Downtown!

Pitch-a-Friend is hosting an event at Thursdays Downtown on Thursday, July 23rd where you can hop up on the Peace Plaza Stage and give a 3-5 minute presentation on what makes your single friend so great.

If you'd like to pitch your friend, you do need to sign up in advance. But if you're just looking to watch the action, or maybe you're also looking to meet someone but you're too nervous to have a friend go up and pitch you, anyone can sit in the audience and watch.

Honestly, even if you're not single but you're looking for friends, this could be a great way to meet some new people. Just sit in the audience and if there's someone who gets pitched that sounds like a person you'd like to hang out with, then go strike up a conversation after.

Pitch-a-Friend at Thursdays Downtown

Whether you're the pitcher, the single friend, or just an audience member, Pitch-a-Friend will be at 7 PM on the Peach Plaza Stage on July 23rd.

It's a 21+ event and it's also LGBTQ+ friendly.

If you're pitching someone, you'll make your way to the stage when it's your turn. You'll give your pitch about your single friend, and then, I believe how it works, is if anyone found your friend interesting and they want to learn more, they can find them afterwards and strike up a conversation. (I don't think we're going Love Island over here and lining up all the singles on the stage to have people pick who they want to couple up with.)
